International Programs – How local government can contribute to international development
This session will explore how Australian local government can contribute to other countries where democracy is fragile, poverty is intractable, institutions are weak, and resources are scarce. It will also explore what opportunities and challenges the local government sector has in promoting international development and how it can be mutually benefiting.
