City Deals will be detailed in this May’s budget. No doubt, it will up the ante for many local governments facing infrastructure challenges. What is inspiring here though, is that the coming changes reference a wave the local government sector is already riding: looking to collaborations and partnerships to support economic development, social cohesion and a better quality of life for residents.
